We the People Convention Runs Full Page AD
Urging Trump and DeSantis to Forge a Unity Ticket
Akron, OH: Today, Tom Zawistowski, President of the national We the People Convention (WTPC) organization, announced that they ran a full page print ad in today's Miami Herald Newspaper publicly asking, and making the case, for President Donald Trump and Governor Ron DeSantis to come together and run on a unified ticket in the 2024 Election. The ad was placed in response to a national Rasmussen Poll that showed a Trump as President and DeSantis as Vice-President ticket would defeat a Biden/Harris Ticket 51%-43%. The Rasmussen Poll was commissioned by the Constitutional Rights PAC, with support from the We the People Convention, and was conducted by telephone on April 27- May 2, 2023 with 1,050 likely voters.
Zawistowski said, "It is crystal clear that this is not a time for politics as usual and that extraordinary action is going to be necessary to defeat the left in 2024 and restore the rule of law and our Constitutional form of governance. In our opinion, that means that we cannot afford to waste time, effort and money on the conservative side attacking and destroying each other while the left eliminates any competition in the primaries and focuses all their resourses on building a "get out the vote" effort for the 2024 General Election. We must put our BEST team on the field for 2024 and the Rasmussen Poll shows that team is Trump/DeSantis! In our full page ad we "make the case" for both Trump and DeSantis to set aside their differences and put together a Unity Ticket that ALL Patriots can support. We are asking Conservative voters to call Ron DeSantis' office at 850-717-9337 TODAY and urge him to read our ad and reach out to Trump before announcing he is going to run for President.
