About the We the People Convention

The Mission of the We the People Convention: “The purpose of this convention shall be: to recruit, educate, and motivate citizens at the grassroots level to perform their constitutionally defined role in the governance of their townships, municipalities, counties, as well as in our state and nation, by providing opportunities, knowledge, and training to ensure limited constitutional governance in order to protect individual freedom, liberty and prosperity and the American way of life.”

The We the People Convention is a taxable non-profit corporation registered in the State of Ohio and headquartered in Akron, OH. Donations to the We the People Convention are not tax deductable and the We the People Convention does NOT operate on a tax exempt basis. We pay our taxes like every other corporation

We are also not a political action committee (PAC) and our political activity is governed by the US Supreme Court Citizens United decision which protects the free speech right of corporations. When it is necessary for the organization to participate in politcal activity, such as supporting a particular candidate for office, our organization follows all election laws that apply to that activity or we will make donations to other state and/or federal PAC's which are allowed to accept corporate donations.
