WATCH: Another Great MAHA Alliance Ad, This One Featuring Tulsi Gabbard
By Ward Clark | 1:38 PM on October 30, 2024The Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Alliance has been nailing it with its video advertising lately. Not only are these ads well-produced, colorful, compelling, hard-hitting, and fact-based, but they are hammering all the themes that are of primary concern to a LOT of Americans just now.
MAHA released another ad on Wednesday, titled "The TRUTH About Donald Trump." spot features former Democrat Hawaii Congresswoman and current Trump supporter Tulsi Gabbard.
Watch the ad. Watch it all the way through. It's a far cry from the weak sauce with which the Harris campaign is assaulting our good sense.
It's important to note that this is not a Trump/Vance campaign video. The MAHA Alliance, which put out this ad, is not directly affiliated with the Trump/Vance team. But they are certainly doing some great work on their behalf. And, let's face it, the pro-Trump side has an awful lot to work with when it comes to hammering the Harris/Biden campaign.
Ads like this can be compelling. They may not sway anyone whose mind is already firmly made up in either direction, but there are still a lot of people in that fuzzy middle. Ads like this are intended to not only inform and advise but to evoke an emotional response. This ad, and the MAHA Alliance's earlier ads, do all of those things.
Also, Tulsi Gabbard. She is young, energetic, extremely intelligent, a combat-zone veteran - when you see her in uniform in the video, that flash of silver above the ribbons on her jacket is a Combat Medical Badge, awarded to U.S. Army soldiers who are "assigned or attached to a ground combat arms unit of brigade or smaller size which provides medical support during any period in which the unit was engaged in ground combat." She has a broad appeal and a big future in the GOP if she wants it.
And, yes, I would love to see Tulsi Gabbard in a new Trump administration. She'd make a fantastic Secretary of Veteran's Affairs. (Editors Note: Or Secretary of Defense!)
