Understand why renewables can’t save the planet and how investing in nuclear power can end the much exagerated "Climate Crisis" almost immediately!
EDITORS NOTE: Anyone who actually, mistakenly, thinks that man made pollution is responsible for "climate change", whatever that actually means, must also concede after watching this video that all the hype about "renewable" energy is dead wrong, and more destructive to the environment than actual "pollution", and that nuclear energy is the BEST answer to our national and global energy needs. Furthermore, anyone on the Left who rejects nuclear energy and continues to push for the clearly failed wind, solar, and other non-fosil fuel "alternatives" simply does not care about the environment at all, but are actually anti-capitialist communist who what to destroy the financial system that has lifted BILLIONS out of poverty and created real solutions to environmental issues, simply because they want to control the lives of people and rule over them.

Environmentalists have long promoted renewable energy sources like solar panels and wind farms to save the climate. But what about when those technologies destroy the environment? In this provocative talk, Time Magazine “Hero of the Environment” and energy expert, Michael Shellenberger explains why solar and wind farms require so much land for mining and energy production, and an alternative path to saving both the climate and the natural environment.
Michael Shellenberger is a Time Magazine Hero of the Environment and President of Environmental Progress, a research and policy organization. A lifelong environmentalist, Michael changed his mind about nuclear energy and has helped save enough nuclear reactors to prevent an increase in carbon emissions equivalent to adding more than 10 million cars to the road. He lives in Berkeley, California. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
