Growing calls for Trump to suspend Habeas Corpus to expel the Left's Illegal Invaders and Defeat the Newest Lawfare . . .
by Revolver News.com, April 23, 2025
The Biden regime’s illegal invasion is real. And while President Trump works to end it, the left’s activist judges are working overtime to block all serious efforts to stop it. We’ve reached the point now where MS-13 gangbangers are treated like victims, and Americans who demand security are smeared as “extremists” and “racists.” Our judicial system has been hijacked to protect illegals, not American citizens—and now, more people are asking the question: what can President Trump legally do to stop it?
Well, here’s the good news. He has a mighty weapon at his disposal: Habeas Corpus.
Let’s start with the basic argument many supporters are making: Habeas Corpus is a legal protection that gives people the right to appear before a judge before they’re detained or deported. In normal times, it’s a key part of due process. But sadly, thanks to the left, these aren’t normal times—we’re dealing with a full-blown invasion, thanks to Joe Biden’s failed regime. And the Constitution allows for Habeas Corpus to be suspended in this type of national emergency.
President Trump would be well within his rights to suspend it—just like Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, and FDR did during times of war or national crisis. No matter what the media jackals might say, it’s not reckless. It’s constitutional. And now, thanks to growing sentiment, more Americans are waking up to this idea.
And that brings us to a recent segment on Steve Bannon’s WarRoom, where journalist Rogan O’Handley laid out exactly why Trump should consider using this power.
Enough is enough - it’s time for President Trump to consider suspending the writ of Habeas Corpus to deport the millions of illegal aliens who invaded our country

It’s in the Constitution - Article 1, Section 9
It’s allowed when there is an invasion
FDR used it
Lincoln used it… pic.twitter.com/8QfMdcHcvo
O’Handley made a great argument for this move: we’re in a historic invasion, the system is rigged against the American people, and President Trump needs to take bold, decisive action to cut through the roadblocks the activist judges are throwing our way. Suspending Habeas would allow mass deportations without sinking in legal quicksand—because right now, the courts are being used not to uphold the law; they’ve been politicized and weaponized.
And as O’Handley points out, this move wouldn’t be some fringe fantasy. It’s literally written right into Article 1, Section 9 of the Constitution.
And bonus, it’s been done before—and it was done by presidents who are literally celebrated and revered.
