The American Center for Law and Justice Committed last night to represent Parents who want to Sue their School District for Not Opening Full Time!

Last night (7/12/20) on the Steve Hilton "Next Revolution" program on FoxNews, American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) Executive Director Jordan Sekulow announce that their organization would represent, at no cost, any parent that wants to sue their local school district if that school district does not open up full time - five days per week - this fall. Sekulow said that a parent must protect their child's education and if their school district will not provide that education, then the parent should sue to get the money tax payers pay for that eduction and use that money to send their children to a charter school or make other arrangements - like home schooling. The ACLJ has been fighting for educational choice for decades.

I know Jordan Sekulow personally, and his father Jay, because they represented me in court for six years in our fight against the Obama Administration's Targeting of TEA Party groups using the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). We won that law suit, and one other, and the ACLJ provided critical legal services at no cost to the regular citizens who were being unfairly attacked by our government. Last night's TV interview reminded me of the national conference call we had in 2011 trying to figure out how we, as just regular citizens, could possibly fight an organization as feared and as ruthless as the IRS. We knew we were right, we knew our rights had been violated, but we had no way to fight back. Jay Sekulow was on that call. He sat quietly and listened for at least a half hour as person after person explained in detail the letters they had gotten from the IRS with unbelievable demands. Then out of the silence, Jay Sekulow's voice came over the phone and he said "what they are doing to you is totally illegal and I commit that the ACLJ will defend any of you, who are willing to fight back, at no cost to you!" Everyone was just thunderstruck! It was the turning point in our fight, which we eventually won, and Jay Sekulow and the ACLJ kept their word!
