It starts a little slow. Interviews usually do. But by 15 minutes in, President Donald J. Trump’s interview with YouTuber Logan Paul becomes required viewing. Especially the ending about artificial intelligence.
At one point, whether knowingly or not, Trump effectively explains the Drake Equation to Paul, vis a vis life on other planets. Their conversations about drugs, Biden, TikTok, AI, and a host of other topics make it one of the stand-out interviews of the election cycle so far, alongside his chat with Dr. Phil.
Truly, as an entertainer, Trump is charting new territory. From being accused of a “coup” and an “insurrection” against his own country (and his own government!) in 2021, Trump has once again transcended the traps and is clearly working to build a coalition not demographic-by-demographic but vote-by-vote.
