As more and more video comes out, thanks to House Speaker Johnson, it will be come much more clear that instead of an assault on Congress, January 6th was an actual illegal assault on the American People and particularly those in attendance that day in Washington.When Ray Epps urged people to trespass inside the Capitol, he knew it was a crime because he had an outstanding warrant for criminal trespass in Pennsylvania from 2015.

Now that the 44,000 hours of video are being made public, The We the People Convention is working with Congressman Jim Jordan, and our partner Catherine Engelbrecht from True the Vote/Open.ink, to acquire the raw footage so that it can be analyzed using sophisticated tools like the FBI and the DOJ has been using to FRAME January 6th Defendants to instead prove their innocence. Here is a copy of an email we sent this week after which Congressman Jordan agreed to help us get the video which you can hear in this audio clip from Monday, November 13th:
Congressman Jordan,
While we thank Speaker Johnson, profusely, for finally releasing the entire 44,000 hours of January 6th video that was promised last January, we are writing to you with an urgent request for technical access to those video files. As the emails below explain in detail, it is not possible to understand what happened on January 6, 2021 without being able to analyze those 44,000 hours of thousands of individual videos in a way that can provide clarity. It is necessary to use sophisticated technical tools that can peace hundreds disparate videos together so that they can be understood in context. As our partner, Catherine Engelbrecht from Open.ink, has explained previously, few people, and even fewer no-governmental agencies, have the technical capability to take 44,000 hour of video and use A.I. tools, and for example, follow an individuals actions throughout the day on January 6th. That is what the defense teams must have to defend their clients against the cherry picked subjective evidence being put forward by the FBI and DOJ in court. That is what the American people and the media need to see to understand what actually happened that day and to see with their own eyes who were the instigators of those actions.
Since the videos are all now “available to the public” we are asking your office to make it possible for our organizations to come to Washington, DC and copy all of those videos directly off the servers on to flash drives, at our expense, so that we can then put them on our servers and begin the critical analysis necessary to provide an accurate understanding of the events of January 6, 2021. Connecting to the Government’s video servers directly is simply the fastest, most efficient way, to get all the video footage in a place where it can be analyzed accurately in a neutral fact-based manner. Our technical team can work with your government employees to protect the security of the government servers during this process.
As we have previously pledged, once the video is on our servers, it will be fully available to the public, the media, the legal defense teams and members of Congress free of charge - in a much more useful format than Congress can provide by posting it on the CHA website. Our goal is to create an interface where a citizen can come and search for any video in which they are captured. We will, of course, protect the confidentiality of those who use the Open.ink system.
We ask for you to take Immediate Action on this request Congressman Jordan. With the 2024 election season starting, the events of 2020-2021 are going to be on the ballot and the American people deserve to know the truth before voting - even in the primaries. That is why Speaker Johnson chose to release the video! We are simply asking for your help in fulfilling that goal of making the truth on January 6, 2021 known to the American public. Please have the appropriate staff contact us as soon as possible to begin making the arrangements to pick up the video files. We, and America, would greatly appreciate it!

Followup Email November 21, 2023:
Congressman Jordan,
Please communicate to the CHA team, that in order to do analysis of the 44,000 hours of video down to the ability to track individual defendants throughout the day, we need the raw video. We know that Speaker Johnson has asked for people's faces to be blurred in the video clips that CHJA is posting on the website - which is taking a lot of their time. We cannot use the blurred video for our analysis because the A.I. will be tracking faces as well as clothing and other physical characteristic. Once we do the analysis, we can blur faces if necessary, but as a public record citizens should be able to see everything that the videos hold.
I just wanted to make this clarification, in case the CHA people felt that they needed to delay providing the video until they were done blurring the faces. That is not the case and cannot be the case. Feel free to call if you or they have any questions.
