The WTPC is Being Censored by Phone Carriers!

This morning (10/8/26), I received the email below from our texting provider, ClickSend, informing me that the "carriers" had flagged the last text message I had sent to you as being in their opinion "political" and therefore ineligible for our organization to send to you. As you will see in the email chain below, the text I sent to you was a news story from Fox News that I had posted on our website and thought was important for you to read. That's not political, that's free speech! However, it was not enough for the "carriers" to stop the text I sent to you about President Trump approving of using a firing squad on a terrorist, which they did, they then decided that because of this one text, that they would block ALL Texts the we want to send to our members going forward! They shut us off!







I have contacted Ohio Senator, Bernie Moreno, and he requested the names of the carriers who have flagged our text messages, and I have requested them from ClickSend. Once we have that information, his office will be contacting the senatorial liaison office for those carriers demanding an explanation. I have also contacted Jordan Sekulow at the ACLJ and requested that they once again provide legal representation for our organization to protect our first amendment rights.


Further, we have worked to create a separate texting account for our Freedom for ALL PAC, which does qualify under Campaign Verify, and for which we have provided all the required documents. The "carriers "have not approved the Freedom for ALL PAC application, which complies with their instructions for "political" emails. I have asked for an explanation as to why the Freedom for ALL PAC has not yet been approved. Once it is approved, we will start sending all the We the People Convention text messages through the Freedom for ALL PAC account, even though we totally disagree with this arbitrary decision that We the People Convention messages to our membership are political.

Bottom line, due to some arbitrary decision by some un-named "carrier", until further notice, we cannot send text messages to you and you will only get emails. We will keep fighting for our 1st Amendment rights, but it is no coincidence that they didn't have a problem with similar text message over the past months. Now that the election is here they want to shut us up!
