Kennedy said that in a series of meetings with Trump and his team, he realized he shared more in common with the former president than he thought. He compared their potential partnership to President Lincoln's famous "Team of Rivals," which saw him stock his Cabinet with former foes.

"I was surprised to discover that we are aligned on many key issues," Kennedy said.

"In those meetings, he suggested that we join forces as a unity party."
 

The Trump campaign just released a memo on RFK Jr dropping out and endorsing the former president.

RFK Jr. Loses Secret Service Protection 

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will no longer receive Secret Service protection after suspending his campaign and endorsing former President Donald Trump. “Mr. Kennedy no longer has USSS protection,” Kennedy’s press secretary, Stefanie Spear, told The Epoch Times on Aug. 25.

Secret Service chief of communications Anthony Guglielmi told The Epoch Times on Aug. 25 that Kennedy “is no longer a protectee given he suspended his campaign.” Kennedy was denied Secret Service protection five times before the Department of Homeland Security granted it shortly after the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump on July 13.
